Amazon revealed as the REAL "BOOK BANNER", under pressure from the Biden administration.

Because, as you know…free speech is overrated.

On June 21st, in a response to a subpoena from the house Judiciary Committee, Amazon revealed at least 43 books they digitally censored because of pressure from the Biden Administration. The information came out via a Twitter Thread from Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio. It appears that since this information was disclosed to the public, Amazon has started to lift the Shadow Ban.

Even though there is much more to be revealed, we know of at least 43 digital books censored by a “new [Do Not Promote] class for anti-vax books” created by Amazon. Internal Amazon documents obtained show the urgent “impetus” for Amazon censoring books in March 2021 was “criticism from the Biden administration.”

In this Substack, we have made the case against age-inappropriate books being available to minor-aged children in Polk County, FL, and other government funded public schools across the nation. This is an entirely different issue, as curating age-inappropriate movies, books, and video games that violate law does not make them unavailable, or “Ban” them. We have consistently stated that if a book is too spicy for the little ones, it should be available for adults to purchase at their local or online bookstore. This action from Amazon, at the request of the Federal Government, is not about sexually explicit content. These pro-censorship changes were being made “due to criticism from the Biden people.” Internal emails revealed that Amazon initially added 43 books to its newly created “Do Not Promote” class of allegedly anti-vaccine books.

Thanks to a subpoena from the Judiciary Committee, we learned that this new censorship class started with 43 books getting the boot from Amazon, just because the Biden White House said so. Whether you're a fan of these books or not, it's pretty darn concerning when the world’s largest bookstore starts playing censor just because the government asked nicely. Who needs freedom of speech when you can have... well, I guess you'll just have to settle for the books that Big Brother approves of. These initial 43 books included Children’s Books, Books for Parents, and Books critical of Big Pharma.

Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.

Pressure from the Biden White House led Amazon to censor CHILDREN’S BOOKS. That’s right. PICTURE BOOKS. Written before COVID, a children’s book author dared to draft a book for unvaccinated children facing discrimination, “especially in California or New York.” Author Amber Rae Johnson states her book “promotes love, understanding, and kindness to everyone.” What are Vaccines?

How dare a children's book suggest that vaccinated and unvaccinated kids can be friends? That's outrageous! Instead of censoring it, Amazon should have sent a copy to Fauci, Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, Tom Wolf, Phil Murphy, Gretchen Whitmer, and even Joe Biden. You know, just to remind them of those good old days when they were trying to force everyone to comply with their made-up rules and vaccine mandates or risk losing their jobs. Because nothing says "friendship" like threatening people's livelihoods over a personal medical decision.

Wait a minute! Biden and Amazon PREACH "tolerance", “inclusion” and “love”, Right? I guess that does not include the unvaccinated. Hm.

It gets worse. The Government also “asked” Amazon to target top selling books for parents. For example: The Vaccine Book: Making the Right Decision for Your Child by physician Robert W. Sears, written in 2011, updated in 2019. This book is rated 4.8 stars out of 5 with over 2,470 reviews.

And it gets even worse. If books for children, and books for parents weren’t enough to effectively diminish opposing viewpoints, at the government’s request Amazon even censored books reviewing scientific papers. Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies: 400 Important Scientific Papers Summarized for Parents and Researchers by Neil Miller had the absolute audacity to address whether Big Pharma’s funding of research has the potential to create conflicts of interest. This specific book teaches parents how to critically think and view studies and vaccine ingredients.

The Biden Admin will tell you that their censorship campaign was about concerns of misinformation going viral on social media. THIS IS A LIE! They were going after BOOKS too. This entire censorship campaign was never about stopping misinformation from spreading on social media. No, no, it was all about SUPRESSING those pesky "disfavored views." Because who needs a variety of opinions when you can just have one government-approved narrative?
